• NCC cadet honoured:: Chaitanya Public School, Ukkunagaram felicitated today its Class IX student and NCC cadet Gopika Singh Rajaputra who represented the school in the Republic Day parade.

• Rudra puja performed:: The Art of living Visakhapatnam Chapter organized Somavaara Ekadasi Rudra Puja that was performed by the founder of the organization, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in the city today from 6am to 9am., at AU Convocation hall.

• Training in soft skills for differently abled:: A training programme in developing soft skills was held exclusively for differently abled persons at Andhra University. Registrar V.Uma Maheswara Rao underlined the importance of imparting soft skills to students.

• ‘Jeep Jatha on SCS:: Forum for Development of North Andhra will organize a ‘Jeep Jatha’ from March 1 to 7 on Special Category Status, railway zone, special package to North Andhra and Rayalaseema and fulfilment of other promises during bifurcation. It will start at Icchapuram and conclude in Visakhapatnam.

• City will be permanent venue for summit:: Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that Visakhapatnam would be made permanent venue of CII Partnership Summit and Sunrise Andhra Pradesh Investment Meet. He said that CII had conducted 20 Partnership Summits of which six to seven were held in the State. He collected feedback from delegates on the last day of the summit said during the study, hospitality was rated 93%, accommodation 85% and food 76%. He said that he was happy to know that they had given 92% overall satisfaction.
