The YSRCP today demanded the State government to come out with a White Paper on the conversion of investments promised so far in the three successive CII Partnership Summits organized.

Speaking to media today, YSRCP city president Malla Vijay Prasd said that the TDP government had showcased an investment close to Rs.20 lakh crore and employment generation of about 11 lakhs. But so far, there had been no official note on how much investment had really come in, how many projects had been grounded and how many persons had been employed. He said that the government would have spent close to Rs.150 crore in organizing the summits.

YSRCP district president Gudivada Amarnath said that as per the record in December 2015, about 51 companies have registered in the state with an investment of Rs.4,542 crore, in 2016 it was 79 companies with Rs.11,395 crore, and in 2017 it was 62 companies with Rs.4,509 crore investment. The figures are far from what are being put out by Chief Minister. In total, the investment is around Rs.20,000 crore as per the IEM records, he said.
